How much will it cost?
It is a requirement of our insurance cover that all people attending Convergence be members of Creative Fibre. Therefore, the base fee for Convergence will be;
- $825 NZD for current Creative Fibre members
- $845 NZD for NZ non-members
- $865 NZD for overseas non-members
Any optional extras you select (suitcase sale or special diets) will be added to your base fee.
You don’t need to pay the full amount in one go, a $400 NZD deposit will secure your place.
If you choose to pay just the deposit, you will receive a second invoice for the balance of your registration in early July.
What’s included?
The base fee provides 4 lunches, 4 dinners, morning and afternoon teas (breakfast not included), 4 full days of tutoring, an opportunity to exhibit your work, access to traders and evening events.
You may have noticed the Convergence dates cover 5 evenings but only 4 dinners are provided, this is to allow an afternoon and evening free for you to explore Auckland and (if you wish) take a break from felting.
Cancellation Policy
We strongly recommend you take out travel insurance as soon as you have paid your deposit. This will offer some protection in the event of a family emergency, ill-health or natural disaster that prevents you from attending Convergence.
If you cancel (in writing) before 31st May 2025 your deposit will be returned (please note that payments in currencies other than NZD may be subject to currency exchange rates and fees).
If you cancel after 31st May 2025: registration fees are non-refundable but your registration is transferable to another person. Convergence is a not-for-profit event and the final price will be tailored according to the number of registrations received by 1st July 2025. This is so we can keep the costs as low as possible but it also means we don’t have any flexibility in the event of a cancellation.
